Shane lives in Fall River, KS with his wife Sara and their three children; Jared, Jacob, and Kayla. Prior to coming to Fredonia, Shane and Sara were members at Severy Baptist Church in Severy, KS for 9 years. During his time in Severy, Shane served as a children’s minister, a youth minister, Sunday school teacher, VBS director, and assisted in various other projects and programs as well.

 

He served in the Army from 2001-2004, and during that time he was deployed to Iraq as a member of the 82nd Airborne. After completing his duty in the Army, Shane moved to Texas and worked as a firefighter and then as a federal law enforcement officer with the Department of Homeland Security before moving back to Kansas and pursuing his call to ministry.

 

Shane has previously completed a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry as well as a Master of Divinity. He also has a Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City.
